Hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm from Monday to Friday
Duration: 3 months with a potential to become permanent employment
Stipend: £350 a month
Role Overview
We are looking for a curious and motivated Digital Marketing Intern to join our Marketing team, working closely with the Marketing Manager. This internship is ideal for someone with a background in AI, Digital Marketing, or Data Science who wants hands-on exposure to how marketing, data, and technology come together in a real business setting. You will get involved across a broad range of areas — from website performance and visibility, to targeted advertising, data analysis, and our CRM platform — gaining practical experience that complements your academic background.
This is a genuine learning opportunity: you will be supported and mentored throughout, with the chance to contribute real input while developing your skills in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Website & Visibility
- Support the Head of Marketing in monitoring and improving website performance, including basic SEO and site visibility.
- Assist with tracking website traffic and user behaviour using tools such as Google Analytics (GA4).
- Help identify opportunities to improve the website’s content, structure, or search visibility.
- Support with monitoring and reporting on the Firm’s overall online presence and visibility.
Targeted Advertising
- Assist with the setup, monitoring, and reporting of targeted digital advertising campaigns (e.g. Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn).
- Support audience research and targeting to help improve campaign relevance and performance.
- Help track and report on campaign performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Data & Insights
- Work with marketing and website data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the creation of simple dashboards, reports, or analyses to help inform marketing decisions.
- Explore how AI tools and techniques can be applied to improve marketing efficiency, targeting, or reporting, under guidance from the Head of Marketing.
- Assist with data cleaning, organisation, and basic analysis using tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, or similar.
CRM Support
- Assist with maintaining and updating the Firm’s CRM platform, ensuring data is accurate and well-organised.
- Support the Head of Marketing in using CRM data to inform marketing activity and lead tracking.
- Help identify opportunities to improve how the CRM is used to support marketing and business development.
General
- Provide general day-to-day support to the Head of Marketing across ongoing projects and campaigns.
- Take part in team meetings, contributing ideas and observations as your knowledge develops.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with the Firm’s data protection and GDPR requirements at all times.
Person Specification
Essential
- Currently studying towards, or recently graduated with, a degree in AI, Digital Marketing, Data Science, or a closely related field.
- Genuine interest in how data, technology, and marketing intersect.
- Good analytical skills and comfortable working with numbers and data.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace (particularly Excel/Sheets).
Desirable
- Some exposure to tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, or CRM platforms (through coursework, personal projects, or prior experience).
- Basic understanding of AI/machine learning concepts and an interest in applying them practically.
- Familiarity with data visualisation or reporting tools (e.g. Excel, Google Data Studio/Looker Studio, Power BI).
- Any prior internship, placement, or project experience in marketing or data-related work.

- Curious, proactive, and keen to get hands-on experience across a range of marketing and data activities.
- Comfortable asking questions and working closely with a supervisor to learn on the job.
- Organised, reliable, and able to manage a variety of tasks.
