Here at Embracing Future Potential, we are committed to helping people find their career and reach their goals by providing in-depth and accurate information on everything to do with employment.

One of our key aims is to help graduates find their feet as they leave education and enter into the world of work; we want to be a source of reassurance and a directory for all things graduates careers.

By providing tools and resources on career paths, graduate opportunities, interview and application advice and graduate skills, we hope to point you in the right direction and give you the confidence to pursue that path. Information on graduate careers can feel overwhelming, especially during the current Covid-19 employment crisis, but we want to break it down for you and show you the small steps you can take to get close to your future career.

In 2018, it was reported by the Government Department of Education that the employment rate of graduates was significantly higher than non-graduates, with 87.7% of graduates employed and only 71.6% of non-graduates in employment. Yet, in the academic year 2016/2017, there were 30,000 more people enrolled in Higher education institutions than the previous year 2015/2016.

So, with more and more people going to university or into higher education, it can feel like having a degree no longer sets you apart in the job market. We want to show you how much value your degree has and help you to recognise what careers it could lead you to.

We aim to develop this section of our website to be an essential port of call for all graduates who want to explore their options and find out how to get where they want to be. For now, visit our Graduate Career Paths Hub for tonnes of information on different employment routes, and the various industries hiring graduates.
