Here at Embracing Future Potential, we are committed to helping people find their career and reach their goals. We do this by providing in-depth and accurate information on everything to do with employment. Our main focus on this site is student and graduate careers.

One of our key aims is to help graduates find their feet as they leave education and enter into the world of work. We want to be a source of reassurance and a directory for all things graduate careers.

By providing tools and resources on career paths, graduate opportunities, interview and application advice, and graduate skills, we hope to point you in the right direction and give you the confidence to pursue that path. Information on graduate careers can feel overwhelming. Therefore, we want to break it down for you and show you the small steps you can take to get closer to your future career.

Graduate vs. Non-Graduate Employment Rates

In 2022, it was reported by the Government Department of Education that the employment rate of graduates was significantly higher than non-graduates. Figures showed that 87.3% of working-age graduates were in full-time employment versus 69.6% for non-graduates. The data also shows that the median salary for graduates was £38,500. On the other hand, non-graduates earned 27% less with a median salary of £28,000.

This proves that having an undergraduate or postgraduate degree opens the door to career opportunities with greater financial rewards. A degree can set you apart from the crowd in the job market, giving you an edge over the competition. We want to show you just how much value your degree has. In doing so, we aim to help you recognise what careers it could lead you to.
