Are you a recent graduate who aspires to support young people in education?

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting ambitious graduate teaching assistants who have a passion for working with children and providing every child with the opportunity to achieve.

We currently work with SEN Schools in Maidenhead and the surrounding areas who require graduate teaching assistants for a September 2023 start.

In this role, you will:

  • Promote an inclusive classroom.
  • Prepare the classroom for lessons, ensuring a safe learning space.
  • Lead one-to-one and small group interventions with students requiring additional support.
  • Be responsible for keeping records of progress and reports of assessment.
  • Assist in the supervision of the classroom and implement behaviour management strategies when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with the classroom teacher to plan, deliver, and mark learning materials.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures.

    • Requirements of this role:

  • Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
  • Two professional references.
  • Degree 2:2 or above.
  • Passion for education and working with young people in education.
