The Job

Our client’s engineering team have an increasing portfolio of work and need to strengthen the team, so you’ll be a recent graduate looking for support and experience and you’ll want to benefit from an excellent training and mentoring programme to help you work towards your Chartered Professional Review.

You’ll have a preference for civil engineering and environmental remediation type projects but be adaptable and willing to apply yourself to a wide range of technical challenges. You’ll already be a conversant with Autocad and other design software. You’ll be willing to learn and you’ll be a confident communicator.

Ideally you will have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Site based experience and is willing to visit remote sites across the UK
  • Design experience in a civil engineering, mining or related field
  • Report writing and data analysis skills
  • Degree level qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Experience in the design and specification of civil, environmental and river engineering works and of CDM regulations
