Psychology Graduate Manchester October 2022 This Ofsted graded good school located within the Levenshulme area of Manchester are currently looking for a recent graduate of Psychology to work within the SEN department of the school. You will be supporting multiple students that have additional SEMH requirements (Social Emotional Mental Health). The school would ideally be looking for a graduate with relevant experience working with students between the ages of 11-16, this however is not essential. Candidates must be able to work with young children/people in an educational setting and be able to communicate well with students whilst be able to manage there behaviour. Main Aspects of the Job: Supporting an experienced SEN team whilst monitoring student mental health. This would either be 1:1 support or group work. Understanding of different SEN needs and the ability to adhere to different student needs. Working alongside students that may find the learning process as more of a challenge compared to their peers. Heling within class tasks whilst assisting the SENCO with tasks both in and around the school. Pay would be dependent on experience this would be between £325 – £475 weekly. This school is situated close to Levenshulme in Manchester which is very easily accessible from the city centre with public transport links running very closely to the Manchester school. Along with easy access from surrounding areas of Manchester with both the M60 and M56 being very accessible to the school for any car drivers. The school is set in very pleasant surroundings boasting fantastic facilities within the local area.
