At Honda we embrace inclusion in our various policies, so whilst our contracts state that the hours are as required to fulfil the role with a minimum of 35 hours per week, we offer flexibility for when you work. The regular office hours are 08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday with a half hour lunch break & 08:00 – 13:00 on a Friday. However, we offer flexibility of when you work with our daily flex-time start of between 07:00 and 11:00 providing that there is no business requirement.

Whilst there is no contractual right to work from home, the flexibility we offer is that you can request to work from home for a maximum of 50% of the working days in any one month, again providing there is no business requirement to attend the office.

Role

This is a great opportunity for an individual to develop a further understanding of the Business Analysis process within an Auto Finance Company. This role will work with a team of Business Analysts and support the different departments within Honda Finance Europe (HFE) giving exposure to the whole business allowing the individual to gain a sound knowledge of how automotive finance works.

Main Responsibilities

The key responsibility is to provide high quality and efficient support within the HFE IT Department. The IT Team provide support to all Business Teams within HFE on the core banking systems and associated business processes. The role will support with resolving issues that arise on the live system(s) and also work alongside the Business Analyst(s) to support the implementation of changes. As a member of the Team you will take an active role in assisting a Business Analyst with changes requested by the business teams and potentially be responsible for the implementation of changes yourself.

General Tasks

  • Take an active role in analysing requirements, recommending solutions and through teamwork deliver changes
  • Data collection to assist with analysis on key changes
  • Provide support in tracking and planning for the implementation of changes
  • Provide general administrative support such as arranging meetings, providing support with documentation, note taking and meeting minutes
  • Qualifications, skills and experience: Required/Desirable

  • Must be an undergraduate, undertaking business related degree, looking for a placement in their third year of study.
