We are looking for a passionate and self-motivated individual to join our Taught Programmes Team in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences as a Programmes Administrator in a full time, permanent post.
You will play a key role in the team, working collaboratively with other team members and academic staff, to ensure the smooth and efficient administration and operation of our taught programmes within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. This will include day-to-day administrative support for teaching, assessment and student data management activities as well as the administration of programme related events.
You should have previous experience of working in a busy administrative role. Attention to detail is important, as is the ability to manage a busy workload with conflicting priorities. You will need to work closely with other team members, academic colleagues and students from across the world, so effective communication skills are essential. You should have strong computer skills, with sound proficiency in Word and Excel and the ability to learn the use of database systems.
We care about student and staff wellbeing, delivering excellent service and University reputation. If this approach resonates with you and you are a good team player who also enjoys working independently and taking the initiative, we would welcome an application from you.
For an informal discussion about the role, please contact the Programmes Manager (Development), Emma Scrase (01225) 383 224 or email [email protected] However, please ensure your application is submitted via the University website.
