The University of Lincoln is seeking to appoint a Student Visa Compliance Officer who will provide support for international students, whilst ensuring the University meets its duties as a Student Sponsor licence holder. This is a new post within the team and has been created to support the University’s plan to further grow its overseas population, and following recent changes to the Immigration rules. This post is being offered internally as it would suit an individual who may already have experience at the University with knowledge of internal systems, assessments, international students and more.
There is no requirement for the successful candidate to have prior knowledge or experience of visa compliance and full training will be given in relation to any relevant processes.
The Student Visa Compliance team is based within the wider Student Administration team. This small and friendly team work closely on a day to day basis and also offer support to the wider Student Administration team at key events, such as Graduation, Exams and Clearing. This role is very varied and the post holder will be involved in developing processes to administer the new Graduate Immigration Route, holding attendance meetings with students, student enrolment, data analysis, line management and more.
