An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Student Support Worker to join the Foundation Learning team within the Access to Learning Department.
Student Support Worker – Variable Hours

£9.36 per hour
The Foundation Learning Department works with young people with multiple barriers to learning and this is an excellent opportunity for someone with an understanding of these barriers and a passion to work with vulnerable young people. You will require emotional resilience with challenging behaviour and be able to use your own initiative to meet the needs of students in the department.
You will support a range of students including those who may have an EHCP and provide support strategies that will enable students to develop emotional resilience and the behaviours and attitudes they need for their next steps.
Ideally, you will have previous experience of working with disengaged young people and have a passion to ‘make a difference’ so that our students have a great time at College, achieve their aims and progress into further study or work.
