A vacancy has now arisen within the School’s Teaching Services Team to provide administrative support in relation to student activities at the Mile End campus in East London.

About You

You should have substantial relevant experience of working in a University environment and must have experience of dealing effectively with people face-to-face with a customer oriented approach. A detailed understanding of student support issues in higher education is essential as well as the ability to work with tact and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive or confidential issues.

The role requires high-level interpersonal skills including relationship building and the ability to work creatively with diverse teams and to communicate effectively using a range of media. You must be able to understand complex issues and problems and deliver practical solutions, working both independently and as part of a team.

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is a full time (35 hours per week), permanent appointment and is available immediately. The starting salary will be in the range of £34,733 – £40,797 per annum (Grade 4), inclusive of London Allowance.
