Student Services Manager.

Student Services Manager based in Gatwick.

Key Responsibilities of Student Services Manager:

  • To lead the Student Services provision. Developing, reviewing and monitoring quality, standards and supporting students through their time with the company training facility.
  • To provide management of students and student administration whilst training with the company looking to promote best practice and improve performance.
  • To take an oversight role in ensuring our students are fully supported, attending cross-department team meetings to advise, support and assist with student support strategies as appropriate.
  • To co-ordinate the student support team’s activities to achieve high levels of customer care
  • To assist the development, organisation and quality assurance
  • To assist in the preparation and process of inductions and student-focused initiative.
  • Share good practice and ensure effective communication across all areas of the business.
  • Be the first point of contact for staff and students and ensuring appropriate policies, procedures, training, CPD and updates are in place.
  • Key Requirements of Student Services Manager :

  • Managerial experience at middle management level.
  • Considerable experience of working at this level in a similar role.
  • Capability to manage the administration required by the Student Support.
  • Effective manager of people including the ability to challenge and lead difficult conversations and resolve workplace conflicts.
  • High calibre administrative, organisational and planning skills.
  • Understanding and knowledge of Student Services.
  • Knowledge of the principles of effective leadership and management.
  • Up to date thorough understanding of the requirements of Safeguarding, Equality and Diversity, Learning Support, Health & Safety and great Administration and Customer Care.
  • Excellent understanding of inclusion and most up to date SEND reforms.
  • Understanding and commitment to supporting the business to meet its targets for success and recruitment.
