We are looking for Student Recruitment Support Administrators to join the Student Recruitment Support Hub and support in providing a first-class central enquiry and support service throughout the recruitment and admissions cycle.

The role holders will perform a range of duties, including: 

  • Enquiry handling: the role holders will offer friendly, prompt and comprehensive responses to requests for information in various formats from prospective students, parents and teachers. 
  • Admissions support: the role holders will deliver timely and accurate services to support the university’s admissions processes.
  • Recruitment events: the role holders will co-ordinate and support recruitment events that are university wide, as well as those located within the School or Department.
  • The Student Recruitment Support Hub is a large team which supports the recruitment of students to the university at undergraduate and postgraduate level. The Hub has responsibility for a range of different areas of work, including enquiry handling, admissions support processes and delivery of recruitment events. Within the Hub, work is divided across the university’s five faculties and the role holder will work predominantly within their faculty sub-team.

    The successful candidates will have excellent customer service skills and proven experience in a customer focused environment. They should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to demonstrate a high level of computing skill. The ability to prioritise their own workload and work in a team is essential.

    In these roles you will be required to work on campus for a minimum of 2 days per week (pro rata if applicable) and you will work from home for the remainder of the time. The days you work on campus will be determined by your line manager in line with operational requirements and you must be available to work on campus on any of your usual working days. This arrangement is subject to change in line with national Covid-19 restrictions and we may return to a model where all work is completed from home, or all work is completed on campus in the course of your employment. You are required to work at whatever location is decided by the university.

    There are 3 fixed-term posts available: 

    Post 1: Full-time (36.25 hours) until 31.10.22. Job share arrangements would be considered.

    Post 2: Full-time (36.25 hours) until 31.01.22. Job share arrangements would be considered.

    Post 3: Part-time (21.75 hours) until 16.04.22.

    This role will not attract sufficient points to obtain a sponsored Skilled Worker visa under the UK Visas & Immigration points based immigration system, however applications are welcome from candidates who don’t currently have the right to work in the UK, but who would be eligible to obtain a valid visa via another route.
