The Faculty of Brain Sciences is a vibrant environment driving forward ambitious plans to solve the greatest health and wellbeing problems in the brain sciences, educate the next generation of leaders and professionals and engage in enterprise and knowledge transfer activities.The Student Recruitment Marketing Officer role is a pivotal one supporting the recruitment of students to over 60 undergraduate, postgraduate taught and research programmes across the Faculty. This role is full-time and open-ended. It sits within the Faculty Marketing and Communications team.The post-holder will play a key intermediary role between Faculty, its Institutes and Divisions and UCL’s central teams. The post-holder will support the work of the Faculty Head of Marketing and Communications in developing, planning and implementing student recruitment marketing strategies and activities. The post-holder will also develop high quality student recruitment marketing content and maintain student facing social media.They will take a lead in providing advice and guidance on undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment issues to academic and professional services staff. Additionally, the post-holder will gather competitor intelligence, conduct market research, input approved content into the UCL CRM system and prospectus content management system. Key RequirementsThe successful candidate will have relevant experience and understanding of UK higher education and working in a large and complex Higher Education Institute (HEI) environment, specifically in a student recruitment and marketing context.The candidate will demonstrate outstanding communication, organisation and interpersonal skills; will have experience of developing plans and strategies relevant to the recruitment of students; and a proven record of delivering projects to target. Candidates must be able to plan and develop student recruitment marketing activities (including a wide range of events, e.g. open days and webinars) across the Faculty.
