Student Recruitment Coordinator

Working for Lorien Resourcing and acting as our Customer’s representative onsite (RPO). The Recruitment Team is responsible for sourcing candidates through direct various methods, promoting our customer’s brand within the employment market and refresh our customer’s internal referral scheme.

This particular vacancy sits within the Emerging Talent Space for this client and focuses on applicants who are graduates or school leavers for company apprenticeships and graduate level programs. The role of the Student Recruitment Coordinator within the Recruitment Team is to support them by doing the following tasks:

  • Help facilitate and run Assessment Centres
  • Screen Student video interviews (and scoring their application)
  • Arranging interviews (inviting successful applicants to assessment days)
  • High volume student level recruitment and system tracking (using an ATS system)
  • Helping with the recruitment process
  • Producing recruitment reports
  • Managing rooms availability onsite
  • Recruitment administration
  • Able to work well in a team
  • The successful applicant must have worked in the recruitment industry to be considered for this opportunity. If you have worked in a Recruitment environment supporting client accounts or on-site for a customer in an RPO capacity would be advantageous. However those from a recruitment agency background looking to make that transition to onsite / inhouse / RPO recruitment will also be considered.

    A huge element of this role is screening candidates videos and applications and then arranging multiple interviews while populating high volume assessment days for graduates and school leavers for the client. You will be spinning many different plates at any one time and will need to demonstrate your ability to multi task in such a busy environment.

    Location – Flexible, but ideally Leeds or surrounding areas – Due to COVID a real blend of working from Leeds City Centre and working “remotely” from home.
