We have an exciting opportunity for a Student Records & MIS Administrator to join our Early Years, Health and Care, Access to HE and Progression to Learning and Work department.

Purpose of the role:

Responsible for the delivery of an effective and efficient administrative service of enrolment, registration/exams and timetabling. The post holder will be expected to work closely with other Team Leaders to manage resources effectively and assign staff as appropriate to meet the business need.

Responsibilities:

  • To ensure the team’s Key performance indicators are met and strive to exceed.
  • To ensure all line managed staff are trained as appropriate and knowledge is up to date and relevant
  • To gain an in-depth understanding of the current fees policy and use this to inform and enable accurate enrolment.
  • To advise staff within the curriculum areas of information regarding the relevant policies and practices related to student administration.
  • To review and update the student administration processes as and when required to meet the needs of the ILR
  • To ensure systems and processes are implemented effectively to maximise efficiency
  • Plan Examinations to ensure entry deadlines are met and exam arrangements are accounted for awarding bodies as specified by the Student Records and MIS Team Leader.
  • Plan and schedule workload of the Student Records and MIS Assistants
  • Communicate with external agencies and partner bodies.
  • To ensure all access arrangements are in place for appropriate students
