The Facilities Department covers a wide range of services within University of Worcester, including Accommodation, Conferencing, Reception, Estates, Commercial bookings and Catering, Security Operations, which includes Cleaning, Campus Service, Grounds & Security. The university has various sites around Worcester which include St Johns, Battenhall, Stephenson Terrace, Grove Farm, City Centre, Lakeside, University Arena & Riverside and The Garage. Applicants may be required to work on any of these sites.
The Reception Team forms part of the hospitality team within Facilities and plays a key role within the University of Worcester, and is the first point of contact for; students, potential students, conference delegates and visitors, either by telephone or in person. The role will suit a student at the University of Worcester who wishes to develop skills in customer care, event organisation, administration, communication and team working.
The successful applicant will have experience of operating in a customer care environment, liaising with customers face to face or on the phone and will have clerical and/or administrative skills. You will provide a courteous, professional and helpful welcome and assist with answering a wide range of enquiries.
Please note this a student part-time position, with a maximum of 15 hours per week. Exact hours and days to be agreed.
