Governance and Assurance Division Student Misconduct Investigative Officer Ref: ALC1111 £33,797 to £40,322 per annum, pro rata for part-time The UEA’s Governance and Assurance Division is pleased to be recruiting for a Student Misconduct Investigative Officer. This is a new role that will sensitively and appropriately investigate and generate reports on allegations relating to student misconduct, including, but not limited to serious sexual misconduct and physical assault and present them to the senior decision makers within the University. The post holder will oversee referral, triage and risk assessment processes, routinely monitoring and reporting on outcomes.The successful applicant will have experience of conducting sensitive and complex investigations, with excellent interviewing, writing and communication skills. They should have a good awareness of the complexities around investigations and the impact investigations have on those involved and be comfortable working at the interface of welfare and discipline. By its very nature the work will involve material that is personal, sensitive, highly confidential and which could be distressing. The University has a framework in place to support the role holder but emotional resilience will be essential.The role is available immediately and is offered on a full-time indefinite basis, although applications to work part-time are welcome and will be considered.
