Student Funding Adviser
The Student Funding Office is looking to recruit an experienced funding advisor to work as part of a team that is responsible for delivering significant levels of financial support to all types of students at the university.
What will you be doing?
The successful candidate will be able to provide comprehensive funding advice on a broad variety of government and university funded schemes and be able to evidence experience of managing multiple funding awards at the same time, within budget and in accordance with internal or external regulations.
They must also be able to demonstrate a number of competencies including attention to detail, flexibility in approach to work and the ability to manage often conflicting deadlines. The postholder must have the ability to work under their own initiative and a high degree of self-motivation is also required.
The postholder will be a part of a small advice team supporting the Student Funding Office, as part of the wider Student Services team
You should apply if
The individual must have previous relevant experience and possess the communication, drive and customer care skills to deliver a high-quality service to a range of stakeholders at all levels. Experience of working with a range of IT systems and software, including the University systems (e.g. SITS, eVision) is also strongly preferred.
