Student Fees and Funding, 4 Worcester Street, Oxford Grade 5: Salary £26,341 – £31,406 per annum The Student Fees and Funding team aims to provide an excellent service to some of the University’s 20,000 students, through the provision of funding opportunities and management of fees data. Funding opportunities include scholarship, bursary and loan programmes, international schemes and central hardship funding. The postholder will have specific responsibility for the day to day administration and finances for students undertaking placements abroad, through both the Erasmus+ programme and the new Turing scheme. This will include maintaining records, issuing funding documentation, handling student-facing communications, and dealing with student and staff enquiries. The post-holder will have the opportunity to develop new processes and monitoring following the implementation of the new Turing scheme at Oxford. The role will also have responsibility for administering international scholarships, and liaising with external organisations. Additionally, the postholder will co-ordinate payment processes for the team’s funds, monitoring and distributing awards across a range of schemes. Possessing excellent administrative and organisational capabilities, you should also be an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrable commitment to working as part of a team. Strong IT skills and a good standard of numeracy are essential, as is the ability to empathise with students requiring assistance. You will have a genuine interest in student funding issues and international opportunities.
