Mental health services

  • We provide a wide range of treatment and support to young people, adults and older people experiencing mental illness both as inpatients and within the community. This includes treatment in secure and specialised settings.
  • Community health services

  • Our diverse range of community health services provide support and treatment to both adults and children. We deliver this care in community hospitals, health centres, GP surgeries and in people’s homes.
  • Learning disabilities services

  • We provide crisis support and inpatient services and our community learning disability teams work in partnership with local councils to provide assessment and support for adults with learning disabilities.
  • Social care

  • We provide personalised social care support to people with a range of needs, including people with learning disabilities or mental illness, supporting people to live independently.

    Student Education Facilitator OSCE & Clinical Skills Training

    Essex Wide Position

    GRADE Band 6 (Fixed term contract 9 months)

    HOURS: 37.5 per week

    SALARY: Band 6

    We are able to offer an exciting opportunity to an individual who meets the job specification to join our team of Student Education Facilitators.

    If you want to work in a team that is forward thinking, innovative and committed to supporting the development of staff, and students, this could be the role for you. You will be involved in the training of nurses to obtain their professional NMC Registration via an OSCE process, and the associated support required with this process.

    The role will be Trust wide and will require the successful applicant to work using mobile technology, with the ability to travel across all trust sites, working with staff at all levels and backgrounds internally and externally to the Trust.

    The Student Education Facilitator Role is designed to enhance the quality of the learning experience and positively contribute to the future development of individuals. The successful applicants will work as part of the dynamic Workforce Education and Training Service to enhance the development and growth of our educational programs across the organisation.

    The opportunity for secondment can be considered from internal applicants for this post with agreement from the individual’s service manager.
