The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic student to join our digital team. Supporting student clubs and societies to get the best from the Students’ Union digital student dashboard tools: memberships, tickets, and events. We’ll provide training and you’ll gain hands-on experience. 

There is also the opportunity to add student web development to the role if you have the appropriate skills. Again we will provide training. We are looking for a student with previous experience and enthusiasm in building, editing, maintaining websites and digital services.

Skills & Experience

If you have experience in student clubs or societies, are enthusiastic about digital, and love to challenge yourself, then please apply.

If you also have experience in web development please provide links to previous work or reference relevant coursework or personal projects.

  • You will work flexible hours each week so it’s perfect to fit around your study.
  • Immediate start is available in preparation for a busy new term starting in Sept 2021.
  • This role is usually conducted largely remotely with some face-to-face meetings as required.

    We exist to represent, support, and enhance the lives of our members. We’ve done so since 1906. We are an independent charity and work closely with the University to achieve a world-class student experience. We’ve got a fantastic modern building featuring cafes, two shops, four bars, an advice center, activities, and a sports zone, where students can join over 400 sports clubs and societies. There’s something different happening in the SU every day: from club nights to film screenings, live music, theatrical performances, and fascinating talks. We offer a relaxed space for students to take time out. We also have a nursery and offer childcare. We’ve been rated the best Students’ Union in the UK by the Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey for ten years running!
