We are looking for applicants who are willing to work at Farnham, with the potential of additional hours during the week at times of the year when there is a high demand for counselling services. This may also include travel to other campuses and online/remote counselling in response to service demand. 

You will provide a professional, experienced, counselling service to the students at the University. This is an accessible and confidential counselling service for students requesting psychological support and will normally be one-to-one work, but provision of online/telephone counselling and group work will be required.

You will also advise students on obtaining help and support to enable them to succeed in their studies at UCA as well as refer students appropriately onto other services inside or outside the University when necessary.

Applicants will need to a recognised qualification in counselling or psychotherapy, be currently accredited/registered with a relevant professional body (e.g., BACP, UKCP, BPS) and have experience of delivering counselling in an institutional setting (including online, telephone and group work).

The actual salary for the position is £27,477-£31,833 per annum.
