Assembly manufacturing operations is responsible for the final assembly of the complete vehicle. Within the planning department we are responsible for implementing all the necessary tooling, equipment and processes to ensure that the production team and the assembly facility are capable of building the product to the required quality standards, in the correct planned time and according to the engineering standards.

  • Planning and implementation of processes to support clear procedures that are understood and followed.
  • Evaluation of data to identify facts which support improvements; resulting in efficiency, cost or quality improvements.
  • Deliver the projects on time and to a high standard to ensure the production team are able to manufacture the cars in a complex production system.
  • Strong link to production and process optimisation to ensure that process waste reduction is identified and targeted to improve the performance of the assembly hall both on a time and quality basis.
  • Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree qualified in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Automotive Engineering studies (2:1 or higher).

  • Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing, Manufacturing Systems and or Quality Systems.

  • Able to communicate in the English language; German would be beneficial.

  • Able to work independently within the management team, have the ability to organise yourself and work in a team environment.
