We seek to recruit an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to work on a project focused on innovative wireless security solutions for the Internet of things. The project will focus on innovative and practical wireless security solutions for the Internet of things. You will work on designing novel key generation protocols that exploit randomness from wireless channels. You will further evaluate the performance of the designed algorithms using practical testbed such as software defined radio platforms. You should have a PhD degree (or near completion) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related subject. Research experience in wireless communications is essential. The project will also require you to demonstrate the ability and experience in channel modelling and measurements, software-defined radio, physical layer security and Internet of things. To fulfil all the deliverables of the project you will work closely with team members as well as external collaborators. You should therefore be enthusiastic in the discipline, committed, and motivated with an aptitude for independent working as well as working as part of a diverse, interdisciplinary team. The position is available for 24 months and can be started immediately but no later than 1st January 2022
