Joining our professional, personable team in our Thorpe St Andrew practice, you’ll deliver exceptional care by going beyond consulting to listen and empathising, putting patients and clients first, always.
In this diverse and dynamic role, you’ll be an RCVS Registered Nurse (or final year Student Veterinary Nurse would also be considered) with small animal practice experience, you put high standards of patient care first and can demonstrate how you’ve worked with empathy and demonstrated initiative when needed. You also understand not only your role but also the capabilities of PCA’s and student nurses, and are eager to help colleagues to develop their skills and knowledge.

The role is working 40 hours per week with 1 in 4 weekends however part time and flexible working requirements will be considered. Also, you will be required to take part in second on-call rota (usually up to 3 weeks a year) and bank holiday shifts that are divided fairly amongst all team members.
Salary and Benefits
Salary £21,330 – £24,565 per annum depending on experience
£300 CPD allowance, 2-days CPD leave and in-house CPD available
Ongoing training is provided as relevant to your role
RCVS and BVA fees paid

The countryside is on our doorstep and we are a stone’s throw away from the Norfolk Broads and the Norfolk Coastline, giving you the perfect opportunity to explore.
Medivet Thorpe St Andrew is a well-established, thriving practice led by Branch Partner and Veterinary Surgeon Gerhard Retief. Our friendly nursing team consists of a Head Nurse, RVN, two Student Nurses and a Patient Care Assistant. The branch has a loyal friendly client base and our experienced team sees a varied caseload.
