Psychology Graduate

We are currently recruiting Psychology graduates to work with SEMH students across our partner schools from September 2021. We are frequently getting requirements for any social sciences and psychology graduates with SEN experience. This role would be a full time role to start at the beginning of the new academic year. You would be assisting an experienced SEN and SENCO team.

This role would be including working with small groups of students who have SEN needs, you will mainly be focusing on both SEMH needs, (Social, emotional, mental health) However, there is also he option to work with different types of SEN students. Since the return of schools after lockdown (understandably) there has been a increase of students who have SEMH needs.

Main Aspects of the Job:

  • Helping within the class tasks and the ability to multi task for any tasks needed in and around the school.
  • Supporting the SEN department for monitoring behaviour in either 1:1 tutoring situations or the work for a group of students.
  • Producing resources for those pupils in need of it, this can vary to multiple SEN needs, however SEMH needs will be the priority.
  • Pay scale will be dependent on both the school and experience. (£325 – £475 weekly)  

Our partner schools are located in the East Manchester areas, so we will be for graduates who live closely to: Tameside, Stockport, Cheshire and South Manchester schools. These schools will be very accessible for both car drivers and those on public transport. With the M56 and the M60 running close by. The school is set in very pleasant surroundings boasting fantastic facilities within the local area.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
