We are recruiting experienced Pensions Administrators to join one of our Regional Scheme Hubs.

Note: This role is available for remote working so location is flexible

What can you expect?

  • You will lead on quality, service control, maintaining standards, and adherence to and implementation of best practice.
  • Integral parts of the role would be to support Administration Service teams in maintaining client relationships; delivering scheme and client focused tasks for a portfolio of clients; peer reviewing complex tasks; and coaching junior colleagues on complex situations. 
  • You would also be expected to take the lead on process improvement for clients and attending meetings where required.

  • We will count on you to:

  • Take responsibility for the allocation and management of work in the team covering client and scheme processes.
  • Ensure processes are adhered to and support any review to maintain best practice, drive continual improvement, operational effectiveness and client profitability. 
  • Support the increased quality of service delivered by continuous and controlled improvement of processes.
  • Escalate to the Manager any opportunities for change and input to plans for developing and enhancing the service provided, through liaison and support with the client and any other connected parties.
  • Communicate with clients or consultants on changes to work planning schedules resulting from adhoc client demands, both directly to the client and indirectly through the Client Relationship Managers.
  • Consistently achieve a daily work in progress SLA, by prioritising/managing workload so that cases are completed within disclosure and SLA requirements and show that have demonstrated commitment to cases to avoid breaching SLA.
  • It is likely that you an experienced Pensions Administrator and want a new change/challenge to step up into a senior role.     What you need to have: 

  • Client and trustee liaison experience
  • Full understanding of member calculation processes. Advanced technical expert for the team(s) on scheme knowledge, scheme types and governing legislation issues
  • In depth knowledge of UK pensions legislation
  • Ability to communicate with impact to clients, Trustees and members
