A secondary school in the Urmston area close to Trafford is looking for a Mathematics graduate who is looking to pursue a career in education. The successful Maths graduate will need to be confident and be motivated in their approach to working with 11 – 16-year-olds.

As a Maths graduate you will be completing a full 360 degree role within the school. There will be the opportunity to cover full lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher (within the Maths department). This will demand good behaviour management skills but also the ability to control a full classroom of students. The role may also involve working with students in small groups or 1:1 outside of the classroom where you will have the opportunity to provide intervention to students and catch up in Mathematics. As a core subject, the school place high regard in Numeracy and Maths skills, with the successful individual fulfilling a pivotal and important role in the education of the students.

The school is located in the Urmston area of Manchester and are looking for an individual graduate who can easily access the school. The school is easily accessible from the local area of Urmston, Flixton, Irlam and Sale via public transport with the M60 motorway network also very close.
