Maths Graduate required for Intervention Support across KS3 at a Secondary School in Bedfordshire 

We are searching for Graduates of Maths, who are keen to utilise their knowledge into a Tutoring position full-time to provide intervention to Year 7/8/9. This would be a full-time commitment, whereby you would be responsible for supporting pupils behind their target grade in Maths, to help boost their grades and close the attainment gap on a 1:1 and small group basis from September. 

The ideal Educator will have completed a full Degree programme from a University which qualifies you with an Maths degree. You will need to be knowledgeable, enthusiastic, have a passion for supporting young people and be a budding Graduate considering a career in Teaching or in the Education field. 

The School are part of a successful Trust which will provide you access to a wealth of CPD and training to support you into the education sector from academic sector, with an excellent and established Maths Department to make you feel welcome into their Staff cohort. This is a reputable Trust who invests their additional funding in support their pupils to achieve their very best and believe Graduates can have a positive impact on this learning journey. 

This is a 12 to 18 school with a roll approaching 1,000 students, including Sixth Form. The school is highly accessible for commute from areas such as Cambridge, Bedford, Stevenage, Milton Keynes and Peterborough, all within 45 minutes travel time.

The school is ready for an expected expansion in numbers due to these demographic changes, and their new science centre was opened in September 2017 and has provided the additional 13 classrooms needed.

They are embarking on an ambitious programme to raise standards, transform their curriculum and help our students realise what they are truly capable of achieving and would like a new Maths Graduate and Tutor to be a part of this growth.
