International Student Experience Manager (Welcome)
Do you have experience of managing events or customer-facing services? Can you collaborate effectively with internal and external partners, and lead and motivate a team that will deliver an exceptional welcome experience for new international students?
The Student Education Service is a passionate and ambitious University service that supports 38,000-plus students and 9,200-plus staff, to deliver an exceptional student experience. Our teams are committed to supporting every student to make the most of their time at Leeds and go on to succeed in their chosen career.
Every year the University welcomes thousands of new international students to Leeds during our main arrival periods in September and January, and at other times. We are currently re-designing our welcome and orientation support in response to internal and external developments, to ensure our services continue to meet the needs of our international students on arrival and promote a sense of belonging to an inclusive community of diverse students and staff.

We are looking for an organised, adaptable and customer-focussed individual to lead the delivery of our international welcome services and contribute to other areas of international student experience. You will manage complex operations and logistics, including the provision of transport services, playing a key role in service planning and decision making. You will need excellent analytical and influencing skills and the ability to work collaboratively and flexibly with a wide range of staff and external partners.
The role will be working 5 days over 7 and will require some out-of-hours activity.
