We are recruiting for an Human Resources – Post Graduate on a 12 month FTC for our Milk & More business, who will act as support to the existing HR Director and HR Business Partnering team and will provide a proactive and professional HR service to key stakeholder groups, including support for key HR projects and change programmes.

The successful candidates for the role of Human Resources – Post Graduate will be given the time and opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge of an HR Function in a transitioning business from a traditional business to an online, digital organisation. There will be some travel involved in this role.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Support the HR team with the delivery of HR change projects, working with the team to ensure that all actions are achieved on time and in line with the change programme.
  • Operating in a culture of continuous improvement, you will carry out research and analysis of existing HR systems, processes and data and provide recommendations for improvements. Creating project plans and preparing presentations as required.
  • Complete data analysis and data cleansing as required, whilst working closely with the HR team and stakeholders to collate and interpret HR data and make recommendations for improvements against people metrics e.g. absence, staff turnover, engagement etc.
  • Supporting the HR team with a wide variety of activities covering all aspects of HR and the people strategy and agenda. This will cover areas such as employee engagement, wellbeing, performance management and reward.
  • Partnering with operational managers for activities that sit outside of the HR shared service operation. This will be in areas such as employee relations, performance management, resourcing and people management.
  • Key skills & experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • High level of IT skills, including MS Office, Excel, Power Point and Word
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Some knowledge of HR
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to ‘think outside the box’ when under pressure
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team
  • Highly motivated
  • Must hold a UK driving licence as some travel will be required
