<p><strong>Warehouse Operator Grade 1</strong></p> <p></p> <p><strong>Location: </strong>Craigavon</p> <p><strong>Hours: </strong>37.5 hours per week</p> <p><strong>Salary: </strong>Competitive</p> <p><strong>Business Unit</strong>: Clinical Services</p> <p><strong>Open To</strong>: Internal and External Applicants</p> <p><strong>Ref No.:</strong> HRJOB6991</p> <p></p> <p><strong>The Role</strong></p> <p>Working as part of the Warehousing team based in our global headquarters in Craigavon, you will be responsible for carrying out all material handling and inventory control activities required within a standard computerised warehouse environment servicing a manufacturing / distribution operation.</p> <p></p> <p>This will include assisting with the movement and checking of material received into the warehouse, completion of all goods inward and inspection procedures, the movement and storage of this material to the appropriate areas, material labelling and accurately completing all relevant paperwork.</p> <p></p> <p><strong>Working Pattern</strong></p> <p>A number of shift patterns are available for this role:</p> <ol> <li><strong>Day shift</strong>: Monday – Friday 07:30 – 15:30</li> <li><strong>Evening shift</strong>: Monday – Friday 15:30 – 23:30</li> <li><strong>Rotational shift</strong>:</li> </ol> <ul> <li>Week 1: Monday – Friday 07:30 – 15:30</li> <li>Week 2: Monday – Friday 15:30 – 23:30</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><strong>Essential Criteria</strong></p> <ul> <li>Have eligibility to work in the UK OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full time, permanent employment in the UK</li> <li>GCSE Mathematics and English Language at Grade C or above (or equivalent) – OR – Significant relevant experience in a warehousing role</li> <li>Accredited Counterbalance or Reach Forklift licence</li> <li>Previous experience operating in a Warehouse environment</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><strong>Desirable Criteria</strong></p> <p><em>(The following criteria may be applied if a large pool of applicants exist)</em></p> <ul> <li>Full clean driving licence</li> <li>Pivot Steer licence</li> <li>Previous experience operating a computerised inventory control system</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><strong>To Apply</strong>: Apply online via the ‘Careers’ section on the Almac website – <a href="http://www.almacgroup.com/careers" target="_self">www.almacgroup.com/careers</a></p> <p></p> <p><strong>Closing Date</strong>: 24 October 2021 at 17:00</p> <p></p>
