Role: HR Graduate
At Transport for Wales (TfW) we have big plans to transform the Welsh transport network. It’s our vision to connect communities, create jobs and make travel across Wales and the borders more accessible than ever. That’s where you come in.
As a HR graduate, you’ll work closely with teams within the People and Organisational Development directorate. You’ll provide weekly project updates, ensuring all activities are delivered to the highest quality, on time and within cost. Not only will you gain key transferrable skills, but you’ll also take part in several rotations during the scheme. You could spend time with the recruitment, learning and development or HR service delivery teams.
Throughout this two-year course, you’ll work towards achieving a professional qualification. As part of your learning, you’ll take part in six practical development workshops and four webinar sessions. Plus, you’ll combine your academic and practical learning to deliver a personal project that contributes to TfW.
You’ll be a confident communicator, as you’ll liaise with stakeholders and TfW partners. And, you’ll regularly engage with fellow graduates as you build your own internal network. You’ll do this while taking advantage of on-the-job training, further developing your technical competency.
To apply, you’ll need to be working towards a relevant degree such as HR management or business studies. Work or volunteering experience in a related field is desirable, as are Welsh language skills.
