About Us

We’re building the best place to work in the veterinary industry. To date, we’ve built a 3,000 strong team working in and for a network of 360 practices and 25 state-of-the-art 24-hour centres. And we have even bigger ambitions.

So it’s an exciting time to join us, to build on our success and ensure we have the Graduates on board to enable us to grow exponentially – we aim to double in size over the next three years – while consistently delivering the exceptional care we’ve built our reputation on.

Everyone here is trustworthy and empowered, caring and progressive, and you will be too as you make this brand new role your own and build our reputation as an employer of choice for graduate Vets.

The Role

As Graduate Recruitment Manager you will be responsible for leading, driving and owning the recruitment process for Graduate Veterinary Surgeons, you’ll play a key role in meeting the needs of clinical operations and enabling business growth. That begins by working closely with the Head of Graduate Programme and supporting the hiring manager’s recruitment needs.

Overseeing every aspect of attraction, process and onboarding, you’ll achieve your targets by proactively building a continuous and strong pipeline of directly sourced candidates. That will include planning a yearly calendar of events to drive awareness and interest, further building our employer brand in ways that resonate with graduates across multiple platforms, and liaising with international recruitment partners on EU university recruitment. You’ll also ensure exceptional processes and onboarding, from running assessment centres to managing and tracking the recruitment cycle.

Skills and Experience

As an experienced Graduate Recruitment Manager, you have what it takes to make this brand new role your own. Here, you’ll be free to apply your expertise and creativity to making our sourcing, screening and onboarding processes the envy of the industry, ensuring an exceptional experience for graduates. And while experience in a multi-site organisation or the healthcare sector would be useful, more important is a big vision, strong leadership style, excellent relationship building skills. You’re also passionate about graduate recruitment, up-to-date with the latest thinking and eager to stay abreast of events and development opportunities.

In return, you can expect a rewarding, high profile role, lots of opportunities to shape how you work and be a valuable leader, recognised for your contribution.
