Role and Key Skills:
Reporting to the UK / Regional University Partnerships Manager and working as part of the UK University Partnerships and Recruitment Team, the key responsibilities will be: graduate recruitment, building and maintaining relationships with candidates – guiding them through the end to end recruitment process; and growing FDM’s relationships with key personnel within the universities we work with to boost the number of graduates joining FDM’s Programme.
You must possess impeccable interpersonal and communication skills to be able to work effectively with both universities from an events perspective, and individual candidates from a recruitment perspective.

Duties and Responsibilities Review and assess incoming applications Understand FDM purpose and values and value proposition Meet and exceed individual recruitment targets Engage in training for presentation giving and facilitating workshops Conduct and assess telephone and video interviews Reflect on each experience in order to continually improve Gain a basic understanding of target setting and delivery Understand career progression opportunities within department/company Understand the purpose of social media to source and engage with potential candidates Run and lead an event such as opening evenings, testing sessions, or women in IT events Basic relationship building with candidates – establish friendly and professional rapport Maintain candidate contact and provide support to candidate decisions Provide basic feedback to candidates (successful and unsuccessful) Ensure candidates are provided with all information and support necessary to have a successful onboarding experience Contribute to wider consultant community experience by maintaining candidate relationships into the Academy Ability to work under pressure and achieve targets. Build relationships with university careers services via effective and professional communications and activity on campus Contribute to open evenings Explain recruitment behaviors candidates will be assessed against Help to train other new members of the recruitment team Understand the foundation program and training streams Support others within the team in order to achieve the team’s target Understand the FDM business model, employment terms, and key clients Participate in driven programs Understand the software development life cycle and how it applies to the FDM model Understand and apply a recruitment target strategy to achieve and exceed individual and team targets Extract and understand basic recruitment data relating to university portfolio Be aware of and avoid unconscious bias in recruitment Follow up successful candidates to maximise candidate conversion Deliver workshops and presentations on university campuses to a standard explained during induction and training Effectively manage a portfolio of university clients Display resilience throughout different areas of the role
