About This Role

A fantastic opportunity for newly qualified Radiographers with less than one year’s experience to participate in a Graduate Radiographer MRI/CT Training Programme with Alliance Medical.

As a graduate radiographer we offer a permanent contract of employment, supported by two years of dedicate support and training. For this role you must have a patient-focused attitude to ensure patient care is delivered to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. We are looking for flexible, adaptable team players who have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

All applicants must hold a Diploma of the College of Radiographers or BSc in Radiography or other UK recognised qualification, have HCPC registration or be in the application process of HCPC and evidence of CPD.

Please note that as this is a mobile role you must be willing to travel due to the nature of the role. You will be provided with a company vehicle and your mileage will be reimbursed.

The hours of work are 36 per week, Monday-Sunday.

Professional Responsibilities

  • Work in accordance with the standards set out by the Health & Care Professions Council
  • Maintain all mandatory training commensurate with the role, and take responsibility for own professional development
  • Be familiar with the principles of the NHS Constitution, and aim to provide the highest level of service to all stakeholders in compliance with the CQC framework
  • Be familiar with and practice the requirements set out around Duty of Candour
  • Be aware of and able to implement the principles of Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Children
  • Maintain the confidentiality of information about patients, staff and other health service business and meet the requirements of the Data Protection Act (1998) at all times
  • Adhere to the AML policy for Moving and Handling, ensuring patient comfort at all times
  • As a registered healthcare professional you are responsible for ensuring that: your practice, so far as is reasonably practicable, protects patients, staff and other persons against risks of acquiring Health Care Acquired Infections (HCAIs) where patients present with an infection or acquire an infection during treatment, that they are identified promptly and managed according to good clinical practice to treat the infection and reduce the risk of transmission
