Graduate Project Process Engineer
Full time, permanent position.
Quadrise is the global leader in emulsion fuels. We are currently seeking to recruit a recent chemical engineering graduate to join our growing team. In this role you will be supported by an experienced team and you will benefit from developing skills in a broad range of areas. You will also enjoy a significant amount of autonomy. The role will involve:
Developing an understanding of Quadrise’s technology and emulsion fuel applications, with a focus on bioMSAR™, our new biofuel.
Supporting our ongoing projects in Europe and the Americas. The primary focus will be on engineering activities; for example project engineering and basic engineering (e.g. PFDs/P&IDs, H&MB, equipment sizing) and unit monitoring.
Business development activities, such as market analysis.
Product development; Lab / pilot plant work at QRF, our research & operational support facility.
What we are looking for – Key qualifications, skills and experience required:
To have as a minimum a 2:1 (or equivalent) degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or similar.
1-2 years of industrial experience in sector.
Biofuel experience (research, production, life cycle analysis) is desirable, whether as part of your degree or in industry.
Numerate, methodical and analytical approach to problem solving with attention to detail and the desire to take ownership and see tasks through to completion.
The ability to work in a team and create strong working relationships across various disciplines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Computer literate; Excel, Word and Powerpoint. Experience with Visio is desirable.
Have the right to work in the UK on a full-time basis.
The role is based on approximately 3 days in our London Waterloo office and 2 days working from home. However, candidates must be open to changes to this policy and travel within the UK and abroad.
