What does our Data Analyst GraduateProgramme look like?

As an Arriva Data Analyst Graduate, you’ll complete a 24-month programmewhich is designed to develop your skillset in order to become one of our futureleaders. During the programme, you will be given exposure into various relevantbusiness areas through strategic rotations, giving you a unique insight intoour business and allowing you to work with a range of our inspiring leadersacross Arriva.

A key focal point of the programme will be to work within Arriva RailLondon’s Operations Directorate generating data insight to help accountablemanagers within the business and across our industry partners to deliver continuousimprovement for our customers. In so doing, you will be a driving force forchange and will have the opportunity to make the quality, punctuality andreliability of our train service stand out at an industry leading level.

This is a fast paced, data driven role where you will be exposed to arange of activities straight away; real world, real time work, whilst at thesame time developing unparalleled managerial skills.

The type of projects, tasks, rotations, and responsibilities that youwill take on during the programme are vast but will include:

  • Data analysis andvisualisation – finding new ways to tell stories with and provide insightfrom our existing data sources, to help the business make betterdecisions.
  • Solving businesschallenges using data – project work to solve issues in the business usingdata and making changes to processes, systems and skills to embed datadriven decision making.
  • ·Supporting and helping shape the delivery ofour data strategy – this strategy focuses on the build out of our datawarehouse, the improvement of processes around data and improvement of the dataskills of colleagues.

    After successfully completing the ArrivaData Analyst Graduate Programme, you will be in a position to begin applyingfor leadership roles within the business, and we will work with you to find asuitable position within the Arriva network.

    We are looking for curious and forward-thinking graduates who hold ahigh degree of self-motivation to join our vibrant Data Analyst Graduateprogramme. To be successful in your application to join our Graduate Scheme,you’ll need:

  • To have, or beexpecting a minimum 2:1 or above in a relevantdegree (Data Science, Computer Science or STEM subject with relevantmodules – you must be able to demonstrate a relevant background incomputing, or evidence of equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of programming languages
