What is on offer ?

A two year graduate development programme, working within our Group Technical Team at our Main Laboratory in Knowsley, Merseyside. During your programme as a Graduate Chemist, you will spend time in our different laboratories. We will equip you with the necessary skills, knowledge and experience in the wide range of analytical services and techniques we operate. You will provide support to our Group Technical Team and support added value business projects. On successful completion of the programme, you will be assigned to one of our operational or technical laboratory business units.

  • Knowledge, Skills and Work Experience

  • Previous internship or initial professional work experience in a laboratory environment is desirable but not essential.
  • Understanding of statistics of analytical chemistry, method validation, quality control
  • Understanding of any of the following analytical techniques is desirable but not essential – AAS, ICP-OES, ICP-MS, CIC, IR Combustion, Titration, EDXRF, WDXRF, Fire Assay, OES
  • Competence in Microsoft Office, Google suite, and project management applications
  • Qualifications

  • BSC (Hons) Inorganic Chemistry or Chemistry related discipline
  • Required Languages

  • Fluent in English. Ability to speak Spanish, French, Russian or Chinese is desirable.
