There is an opportunity for a 2020 Manchester Met graduate to work as a Future Talent Intern for Curriculum Management. Academic Collaboration are responsible for managing the quality and academic standards of the University’s collaborative and academic partnerships, this includes collaborative partners both in the UK and overseas, degree apprenticeships and Global Online provision. When the team was established in 2015 it inherited a Microsoft CRM which it used as a repository for all information relating to collaborative partners. As the needs of the team changed, it was decided to stop using the CRM and replace this with a bespoke Sharepoint site. The team have begun to develop the Sharepoint site, however; we now require someone to support the development of this. This will involve establishing the needs of the team and identifying the most appropriate way to meet these needs through the Sharepoint, ensuring functionality and reporting features, finding original source data and inputting this into the Sharepoint. We would expect the intern to work with the Education Officer who has already begun development of the Sharepoint to support and continue this role. They will be required to take a wide range of information and identify the best way to represent the information in the Sharepoint, ensuring functionality aligns with the business needs of the Team. They will need to work with Education Officers and managers to identify reporting needs and functionality. Once the framework for the Sharepoint is fully established, the intern will then be required to source the original partnerships data and input this into the Sharepoint they have developed. The internship is expected help the successful applicant to develop the following key skills:* IT skills including Sharepoint development 
* Team working and project management 
* Ability to identify needs and find solutions

Dates: 23rd August – 29th October 2021
Hours: 35 hours per weekWorking pattern: Monday-Friday either 08:45-16:30 or 09:00-16:45 with an unpaid 45 minute break
Location: Mix of online and on campus

Essential: * Graduated from a Manchester Met undergraduate course in 2020

* Strong IT skills

* Ability to review large sets of information and identify clear method for representation

* Good communication skills
