Events and Graduation Manager

We are looking for a talented and experienced events professional to join our award winning team and develop and lead an exciting and engaging programme of in-person and virtual events for us, including our key student recruitment events and graduation ceremonies.

We are looking for a talented and experienced events professional to join our award winning team and develop and lead an exciting and engaging programme of in-person and virtual events for us, including our key student recruitment events and graduation ceremonies.

With a proven track record in delivering effective and successful in-person and virtual events, you will organise and manage seamless graduation ceremonies, informative open evenings, high profile lectures and VIP visits. 

Our events play a critical role in supporting student recruitment and building our reputation among all of our stakeholders, including prospective students, alumni and donors, so proven experience of managing operations and processes involved in delivering high-quality events are a must, as are high level organisational, budget and people management skills and measurement and evaluation knowledge.

A skilled communicator focussed on customer service, you will be confident working with people at all levels of the organisation, and in managing internal and external suppliers. 

This role sits within a team responsible for communications, events, media relations, publications, website, social media, and brand and design in a dynamic and award winning Marketing and External Relations department.

We’re looking for someone who has experience of leading on all aspects of in-person and virtual event management. You will be able to organise and deliver events, including student recruitment and conversion and graduation events of the highest quality. You will have project management experience and be able to focus on getting the details right, as well as seeing the bigger picture. You will be knowledgeable and passionate higher education as well as delivering an outstanding level of customer service.

Remuneration

Grade 7 of the College’s London Pay Scale which is £38,594 rising to £44,113 per annum.

The salary quoted is on the College’s London Pay Scale which includes a consolidated Weighting/Allowance which applies only to staff whose normal contractual place of work is in the London area.
