Graduate Research Executive – Pharmaceutical Market Research
Location: Tower Hill, London (E1W 1YW) with flexibility to work from home during pandemic
Salary: £25,000 plus benefits
Start Date: January 2022

Are you looking to start and develop your career in one of the world’s largest Research Organisations?

ABOUT US – Healthcare (Pharmaceutical) Market Research Team
Market research is about analysing behaviour and discovering what people think about business, brands and everything in between. In healthcare market research, we enable pharma, biotech and medical technology companies to make the right decisions, and as a result, we inspire better healthcare. It’s about grasping the motivations, experiences, interactions and influences of doctors, patients, pharmacists, governments, insurers, caregivers, and many more.

You will be part of a team that works on a diverse array of projects, covering a wide spectrum of therapy areas and research methodologies. As a Graduate Research Executive, you will:

  • Start with a tailored 3-week induction programme specifically introducing you to healthcare market research. The interactive sessions will be delivered by the healthcare team’s experts and assisted by real world exercises.
  • Training will cover all the core skills needed to be a successful researcher, providing you with a full knowledge of your role in the project lifecycle, from planning a project to delivering the final presentation.
  • Following this, you’ll be encouraged to take charge from the outset – thrown straight into working on live projects
  • You’ll get fascinating insights into diseases, treatments and how the healthcare industry really works.
  • You will have the opportunity to work with different members of your team who, cooperatively with a strong in-team support network (your Line Manager, Graduate Representative and a Buddy), will help guide your learning and development.
Our Generation Ipsos programme provides a comprehensive foundation in research and how it’s practically applied in a commercial environment. You’ll be trained in client management, project management and the nitty-gritty of research including methodologies, sampling, weighting and ethics. You’ll learn through real life, hands-on experience, webinars, seminars and specialist workshops. We’ll provide you with dedicated training designed to achieve the industry recognised Market Research Society (MRS) Advanced Certificate accreditation. Networking is a key skill so we have Early Careers events with other Graduates, Placement Students and Interns across the company.

Having a flexible working culture where we work with our colleagues and celebrate our successes is important to us. We invest our time in you and you’ll benefit from working alongside our expert teams. Your manager will help you set goals to achieve your personal objectives throughout the year and help you exceed these.
