Job summary

The Faculty of Medicine is undertaking an exciting transformation of its postgraduate curriculum, which will instil new and innovative teaching, learning and assessment practices, by digitally enhancing its curricula.

We are looking for creative and experienced Digital Transition Fellow to develop, implement, maintain, support and co-ordinate the delivery of high-quality interactive e-learning materials, projects and activities for our UG Science and associated Masters taught programmes across our Faculty.

As part of our Digital Postgraduate Education Team, you will provide guidance and advice in order to design and deliver the online modules/ courses in a timely manner and in line with quality standards shared within the College. You will have an influential presence and be able to inspire and interact with a cross-section of staff and students in order to support the adoption of technology-enhanced learning.

Duties and responsibilities

You will be working within the Faculty of Medicine’s Postgraduate Digital Education Team. You will collaborate closely with academic teams, and digital and education staff in the Faculty of Medicine to provide expertise in online education and the design and delivery of exciting, blended learning material in a timely manner and in line with quality standards shared within the College.

Essential requirements

In order to hit the ground running, you will have:

  • Strong experience of using web–based technologies, in the delivery of teaching and learning resources
  • Strong experience in supporting elements of a blended learning curriculum (virtual tutorials, flipped classroom, online exams)
  • Experience of providing e-learning support to academic staff in an education environment
  • The ability to coordinate a range of activities as and when required
  • The ability to work to a high level of accuracy, with meticulous attention to detail
  • The ability to work as part of a team in the management and successful delivery of project outcomes and to prioritise workloads when working on multiple projects.
