The successful candidate will be responsible for: •Safeguarding•Student Services, including Business and Funding Support•Student Voice and Enrichment•Information, Advice and Guidance•Additional Learning Support•Specialist Support for Care leavers and vulnerable students•Driving forward and embedding the College Behaviour Improvement principles across the College You will join a passionate and ambitious senior management team where you will develop and implement the relevant strategy and lead on the delivery of student support services across the College. You will be responsible for leading and managing a wide range of College services which support students throughout their time at the College. The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate: •Success in achieving improvements within a comparable role.•An acumen to ensure high standards of service that are financially cost effective.•Ability to implement strategy.•A good awareness of current issues and developments in post 16 education centred around student support.•Proven successful change management experience and achieving or exceeding KPI’s. The successful candidate will have: •A Degree in a relevant subject area.•A recognised teaching qualification (CertEd / PGCE / DET or DTLLS)•A minimum of 3 years successful experience in management in an FE College.•Experience of managing and/or working in an academic curriculum department.•Experience of managing a team which has improved standards and achieved agreed Key Performance Indicators.•Proven experience of successful change management.•Experience of working in a cross college role and encouraging those you do not line manage to engage in cross College activities.
