Entity and activity description

We are very happy to announce the launch of our ALLEX Graduate Program for our Healthcare activities. 

You will be able to join one of our Healthcare subsidiaries on a permanent contract and carry out 2-3-months assignments in Europe to carry out high added value projects. 

Our goal: to allow you to quickly develop your potential and your understanding of the group in order to progress to the next stimulating position at Air Liquide. Join our Graduate Program as Procurement Project Manager at Air Liquide Healthcare UK.

Work environment:

The Operations Department is based out of Gailey Park National Distribution Center or Four Ashes Filling Plant where you will be part of a dynamic procurement team overseeing all of the Air Liquide Healthcare procurement activities for the UK and Ireland.

Missions and Responsibilities

During the 2-year programme you will undertake different roles: You will work in a range of different business areas and for 2 rotations you will rotate internationally into our affiliates or production sites located around the globe. 

Additionally, you will receive formal training and gain knowledge and invaluable international experience leading to both professional and personal development. You will develop core skills in areas such as supply strategy, contract negotiation, financial planning, procurement systems, change management, etc.

In this role, you will embrace ambiguity and collaborate across teams to develop new procurement approaches and solve complex business problems. As a Procurement Project Manager you are a strategic resource and trusted advisor that will guide teams on the design and approach of Procurement transformational initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the identification and prioritisation of transformational initiative pipeline
  • Drive the transformational initiatives in partnership with initiative leads
  • Partner with leads and operations teams to lead planning to enable the transformation
  • Analyse practices and develop solutions for improving existing processes
  • Engage and support the team in taking over a new scope and new processes
  • Determine risk and impact from changes in processes
  • Competencies and Profile

  • Excellent academic achievements
  • Relevant work experience or extracurricular activities
  • International mindset and ability to adapt quickly to change
  • Team-player attitude, excellent communication skills, high drive and an eagerness to learn
