About Our Client
My client is a global market leading organisation. They’re continuing to grow and are market leading within their sector.
Job Description
The successful Graduate Trainee Management Accountant will be responsible for:
Assist with month end procedures and the production of relevant, accurate and timely entity reports including full reconciliations of accounts.
Assist in preparation of accurate and timely financial statements for quarterly, half year and year end statutory reporting including audit file for external auditors.
Assist with the processing of transactions into the accounting ledger
Assist in the maintenance and reconciliation of Fixed Assets Sub-ledger.
Assist with the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
Assist in the preparation of recharge and pass-through invoices to other companies
Assist in driving forward process improvement and quality of financial information.
Develop financial skills and knowledge through work experience and professional studies to become a qualified Accountant.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Graduate Management Accountant will be:
Accounting and Finance Degree or equivalent
Understanding of basic accounting processes
Experience of Reconciliations
Excellent organisation skills & attention to detail
Numerical and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication Skills
Ability to use initiative and work unsupervised
Proactive and a ‘can do’ approach to problem solving
Good Interpersonal and relationship building skills
Methodical and structured approach to work
High degree of computer literacy and good IT Skills in Microsoft Excel
Minimum of 1 years’ accounting experience, desirable but not essential
Experience of accounting system, desirable but not essential
