Job Purpos

This role supports the Student Recruitment team’s systems requirements. The Systems Assistant Manager will support the Systems Senior Manager in providing and maintaining effective technology solutions, training, and reporting for the Student Recruitment Team. Systems include applicant tracking, assessment solutions, event and interview Management technologies. In light of GDPR this role will also play a key part in ensuring that the Student Recruitment team is compliant in its activities and delivering the highest standards of candidate experience.

The role

  • Maintaining the running of recruitment technologies, overseeing the day-to-day operations of our systems
  • Managing system related queries processes, ensuring they are resolved in a timely and effective manner
  • Overseeing training and support to the team on the current recruitment systems; including best practice and compliance
  • Leading continuous reviews of technology processes and uses, evaluating functionality, recommending efficiencies and changes where possible
  • Manage delivery of system related projects and updates
  • To support the Systems Senior Manager in technology and analysis projects
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
  • Delivery of effective Recruitment reporting (MI) to colleagues and stakeholders
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of recruitment operations
  • Ensuring the team and technologies are adhering to risk practices, standards and regulatory requirements
  • Performance management responsibilities
  • Ad-hoc support of recruitment activity, including attraction and assessments
  • The Person

  • Ideally has worked through at least two cycles of Student Recruitment experience
  • Experience in delivering / maintaining systems and technology, ideally within recruitment
  • Strong Excel skills with experience of providing reporting (MI).
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy and a knowledge of the student recruitment marketplace and school leaver opportunities

  • A confident presenter and ideally experience with delivering training to colleagues
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders

  • This is a hybrid working role with some travel to KPMG offices and events. Intelligent working requests will be considered and some flexibility is likely to be possible. However, it should be noted that demands of the role include cover on most days.
