Today we focus on an exciting opportunity within their Engineering department. 

Early Careers Programme  

Jaguar Land Rover offer several routes through their early careers programmes from supporting schools and apprentices to undergraduates and graduates. At Jaguar Land Rover they ‘believe today’s curious young minds are tomorrow’s engineers, designers, and innovators which is why they have provided numerous opportunities for young people to progress with them. The early careers programme will provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to take the next step in your career. 

Electronics and Complex Systems Engineering Undergraduate Programme 

Jaguar Land Rover have provided a fantastic opportunity for a developing student to join their team on their Electronics and Complex Systems Engineering Undergraduate programme. 

Programme Duration – 12 Months 

Location – Gaydon, Manchester or Shannon. All employees are required to spend time in different departments at a number of company locations in order to meet the needs of the business. 

Salary – Circa £17,000 

Within Jaguar Land Rover, the Electronics and Complex Systems engineering teams are responsible for designing and developing complex automotive systems and their components, to provide quality experiences for customers. As a successful undergraduate in this area of engineering, you will work closely with a team of experienced engineers who will guide and support your growth into becoming an experienced member of the electronics engineering community. 

There are many different projects that you could be engaged in from day one including electronics product delivery or development. During your 12 months placement you’ll have opportunities to design, develop and shape the future for our electronics and complex systems, working on a wide range of projects in the following teams: 

  • Core Engineering 
  • Body and Chassis 
  • Electrical 
  • Powertrain 

Regardless of which team you join, you’ll be at the heart of Jaguar Land Rover’s Electronics and Complex Systems strategy, bringing to life concepts and turning them into reality, for Jaguar Land Rover customers.
